Trafalgar

Trafalgar beach, a short way down the coast from the beautiful Marina beach at San Lameer is an extremely natural beach with close to the Mpanjati Nature Reserve.

The facilities at the beach are low-key with all developments situated close to the parking area and a short walk down to the beach.

The beach is a wide, sandy beach with warm sub-tropical water that is pleasant to swim in 365 days of the year. Lifeguards are on duty every day throughout the year.

There are no restaurants or shops close to this beach so go prepared. The beach can be reached by proceeding south along the N2 highway, past Margate and Ramsgate heading in the southerly direction to Port Edward.

The sign to the little village of Trafalgar is posted on the N2 highway and directions to the beach are easy to follow from there.
