From Durban:
Stay on the N3 heading to Pietermaritzburg. Do not turn off N3 or take Durban Road entrance.
Take the Chatterton / Armitage off ramp.
Get to a traffic circle and go around traffic circle and take second left. You will see Liberty Midlands Mall on you right hand side and you can use entrance 1,2 or 3 to enter.

From Johannesburg:
Stay on the N3 heading to Pietermaritzburg. Take off ramp #83. You will see a sign displaying MIDLANDS MALL. Keep left and you will see Liberty Midlands Mall on your left. You can use entrance 1,2 or 3 to enter.

Finding what you're looking for at Liberty Midlands Mall has just been made easier by the latest in touch screen store directory technology from ipoint brought to you by Primall Media.  Touch screen directories have been installed at entrance one, two and three at the mall so that shoppers can find any store they are looking for at all of the major entrances.

Paul Siebert from ipoint explained that each of the touch screens have an easy to use touch screen interface where visitors to the mall can search for what they're looking for in a variety of ways.

"Shoppers can search for stores by category or by the name of the store, as well as by searching for specific products or brands. The stores that stock what they are looking for will be listed, and the shopper will be directed to where the store is located on a map showing the layout of the mall," he said.

He added that this new technology forms part of a national network of malls located around the country.

"The touch screens also feature tourism information, where shoppers can access information such as restaurant listings, accommodation, services such as car rentals, and the top attractions that are available locally - all just by touching the screen," he added.

Liberty Midlands Mall has a Pensioners Shopping Shuttle that offers a very special service to the pensioners in our community. The service includes picking pensioners up, bringing them to Liberty Midlands Mall to do their shopping, and then taking them home safely afterwards. Wheelchair Friendly Trolley's
Liberty Midlands Mall has now got amazing new trolleys especially for our shoppers in wheelchairs. These trolleys are available on request at the Customer Care Counter. They are connected to the bottom of the wheel chair are wide enough to fit comfortably over the wheelchair. This new innovation will make shopping for the disabled a pleasure with no more worries about where to put your shopping bags.

Family Parking Bays
Liberty Midlands Mall understands mothers and families needs and has especially reserved Family Parking bays, designed to help families with babies and young children to have close access to main Mall entrances and to add to their pleasant shopping experience. Family Bays are situated near entrance 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Car Wash
Liberty Midlands Mall is please to offer the Car Wash service that has been installed in the parking area behind Woolworth so customers can conveniently have their vehicle washed while they visit the Mall.

Undercover Parking
Pensioners receive FREE undercover parking on Wednesdays. You can obtain your free exit card from the Customer Care desk in Centre Court. Please ensure you bring your ID or pensioners card with you.

Pick ‘n Pay is providing their customers get 2 hours FREE under cover parking on any day you shop at Liberty Midlands Mall Pick ‘n Pay. All you need to do is request your complimentary 2 hour free parking ticket while paying for you items at the Pick ‘n Pay till point. Please note that this is only for customers who shop at Pick ‘n Pay.

Information Kiosk
The Information Kiosk is strategically positioned in the Centre Court. Our customer relation officers avidly wait each day to assist shoppers with gift card purchases, address enquiries on tenants and promotions, and endeavor to ensure that the customers receive no less than a great experience at the Liberty Midlands Mall.
The following value added services are provided at the Information Kiosk:
Wheelchairs are offered on enquiry for the comfort and convenience of our physically challenged or disabled shoppers ensuring them a pleasurable shopping experience.
Customer Care Card are made available from Friday this week to ensure customers can put forward their views on customer service received in the mall.
Customers Comment book to enable to customers to communicate any complaints or queries they may have with Centre Management.

Disabled Facilities
Liberty Midlands Mall prides itself in its ambassadorial position as one of the key drivers of the disabled friendly campaign and continuously works with the Society for the Disabled to increase community levels of toleration and regard for the physically challenged or disabled. The mall offers wheelchairs on enquiry at the Customer Care Counter, to ensure a comfortable and pleasurable shopping experience. There are disabled parking bays that are located near all main entrances to ensure easy and convenient access into the mall. Temporary disabled disks for display in the window of a vehicle are available to the public for unexpected visits to the mall with a disabled person and are available that the Customer Care Counter. Disabled Ablution Facilities are located in close proximity to the general public toilets along the passageway adjacent to the Customer Care Counter, next to Panarotti’s; as well as in the passageways next to the stores Ghela Outfitters, Elna and Shadows.
Ramps leading fro the parking areas into the three entrances allow easy and direct access onto the paving and into the Mall.

Disobedience or misuse of the paraplegic parking bays will result in the clamping of wheels, of the offenders cars by Mall security; and an immediate fine of R500 for the removal there of.

Restrooms
The public toilet facilities provided cater for both genders. There are also family toilets that allow Mom or Dad to take their children to the toilet without having to worry about genders. Toilets are to be found along the passageway adjacent to the Customer Care Counter, next to Panarotti’s; as well as in the passageways next to the stores Ghela Outfitters, Elna and Shadows.

Family Room
This is a wonderfully decorated family room, situated in the Food Court passageway opposite the Centre Management Offices, caters for mother’s to comfortably feed and change their babies, during their shopping experience at the Mall.

Escape Exits
Liberty Midlands Mall escape exits are available throughout the Mall and are clearly signed. The Mall complies with building and fire regulations. In addition, smoke detectors and rapid response sprinkler systems are placed throughout the building.

Navigate yourself with undercover parking NAVIGATING yourself when paying for undercover parking at Liberty Midlands Mall is as easy as one, two, and three...

1 - Simply retain your ticket when entering the main gate at the mall and insert this same ticket at the boom gates when you enter the undercover parking. This ticket will again be returned to you.

2 - After shopping visit one of the two pay stations and insert your ticket. The pay stations will give you notification of how much you need to pay and will return your ticket once the amount has been paid.

3 - You have 15 minutes from the time the ticket is paid to exit the undercover parking area by inserting your ticket at the boom gates once again. Please note: Don't keep your ticket near cellphones or magnets as this can delete the information on the ticket. Pensioner's day is on Wednesdays where pensioners can swop their tickets at the information counter at the mall. They can go straight to their vehicles and exit the undercover parking without paying at the pay station.
